Francisco Simian

Francisco Simian is an economist and market strategist who supports the firm’s Investment Committee by supplying research on local and international equity markets. He is also in charge of leading the efforts regarding economic and market commentaries for our clients, all of which aim to shed light on the views our team currently holds regarding the prospects of different industries, sectors, and economies.
Francisco’s research is both qualitative and quantitative, with a special focus on political risk. Prior to joining our firm, he worked as a researcher in the area of health-care public policy.
Francisco has an M.A. in Economics from The University of Chicago, where he also worked as a lecturer in the College, and as a teaching assistant at both the undergraduate and graduate level. He has a B.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, along with an M.A. in Economics from the same institution.
